  Ball bearings from Quodec are suitable for use in diverse applications. The deep groove in radial ball bearings helps deflect dirt, ensuring efficient performance in contaminated environments. Angular contact ball bearings support simultaneous radial and axial (thrust) loads in high-speed, high-precision applications. Quodec mini bearing offering includes open/shielded and flanged/unflanged units. Quodec recommends robust agricultural disc ball bearings, which absorb high impact loads, for use in the toughest applications. The increased motion control provided by ball screw support bearings keeps grinding, milling and machining centre equipment running efficiently. Quodec recommends unground ball bearings as a cost-effective choice for less demanding applications.
• Angular contact bearings
  

  
  We have a full range of deep groove ball bearings. These bearings are the most common type and are used in a wide variety of applications. Angular contact ball bearings have inner and outer ring raceways that are displaced relative to each other, in the direction of the bearing axis. This design enables the bearing to accommodate combined loads, i.e.: simultaneously acting radial and axial loads.
• Thrust ball bearings
  

  
  Thrust ball bearings are classified into those with flat seats or aligning seats depending on the shape of the outer ring seat (housing washer). They can sustain axial loads but no radial loads.
• Deep groove bearings
  

  
  Deep groove ball bearings are particularly versatile and require little maintenance. They are suitable for high and very high speeds and can accommodate radial and axial loads in both directions. Deep groove ball bearings which are the most widely used bearing type are available from QUODEC in many designs, variants and sizes.
• N series thin-section ball bearings
  

  
  Extremely thin-section ball bearings and roller bearings contributing to downsizing, weight saving, and reduction of torque loss of robots, construction equipment and industrial machinery.
• Roller bearings
  

  
  QUODEC carries a wide range of roller bearings and cylinder bearings for industrial and commercial power transmission applications. Cylindrical or straight roller bearings are ideal for machine tools, compressors, cement pulverisers and other applications that require a heavy radial load capacity at high speeds. Spherical bearings support high radial loads in applications with severe misalignment, or where pivoting is needed. QUODEC recommends needle bearings for engine components, such as rocker arm pivots, pumps, compressors and transmissions. Needle bearing inner rings serve as raceways for rolling elements, or as bushings or sleeves. Tapered roller bearing cones and cups, sold separately, combine to help create high-quality tapered roller bearings that can carry maximum radial/thrust loads simultaneously. QUODEC recommends these units for lower speed applications, with alternating thrust and radial loads or shock loads.
• Cylindrical roller bearings
  

  
  In bearings of this type, the cylindrical rollers are in linear contact with the raceways. They have a high radial load capacity and are suitable for high speeds. There are different types designated as NU, NJ, NUP, N, NF (for single-row bearings), NNU, and NN (for double-row bearings, depending on the design or absence of side ribs). The outer and inner rings of all types are separable. Some cylindrical roller bearings have no ribs on either the inner or outer ring, so the rings can move axially relative to each other. These can be used as free-end bearings. Cylindrical roller bearings in which either the inner or outer rings have two ribs and the other ring has one are capable of taking some axial load in one direction. Double-row cylindrical roller bearings have high radial rigidity and are used primarily for precision machine tools.
• Needle roller bearings
  

  
  Needle roller bearings are classified as either radial or thrust bearings, depending on the direction of the load being supported. Needle roller bearings include bearings whose rollers slightly exceed the size range of needle rollers as stipulated by ISO. Needle roller bearings include drawn cup and solid radial bearings, as well as application-specific cam followers and roller followers. Thrust bearings include thrust needle bearings.
• Spherical roller bearings
  

  
  A spherical roller bearing is a rolling-element bearing that permits rotation with low friction and angular misalignment. Typically, these bearings support a rotating shaft in the bore of the inner ring that may be misaligned in respect to the outer ring. Available in types EA, C and CD. Spherical Roller Bearings are designed for high load capacity. Types EA, C, and CD have pressed steel cages; and type CA has machined brass cages. Type EA has especially high load capacity, features low torque, and has a high-strength cage.
• Tappered roller bearings
  

  
  Tapered roller bearings have tapered inner and outer ring raceways, as well as tapered rollers. They are designed to accommodate combined loads, i.e. simultaneously acting radial and axial loads. Bearings of this type use conical rollers guided by a back-face rib on the cone. These bearings are capable of taking high radial loads and axial loads in one direction.
• Thrust roller bearings
  

  
  Available with cylindrical or spherical rollers, NSK thrust roller bearings sustain only axial loads, but they are suitable for heavy loads and have high axial rigidity. Spherical thrust roller bearings contain convex rollers and have a self- aligning capability and are free of any influence of mounting error or shaft deflection.

  Construction equipment used in harsh environments risk contamination from dust, mud, and huge loads, and require a certain degree of ruggedness that is different from the requirements of a common passenger vehicle.   Split roller bearings have an inner ring, outer ring and a cage with the roller set that are split in half. The split bearing rings are held together by screws.
  
  Cost savings
  
  Split spherical roller bearings are principally used where the replacement of unsplit spherical roller bearings would require costly additional work, involving the removal of gears or couplings, the dismounting of drives or the dismantling of shaft power trains. The use of split spherical roller bearings reduces the downtime of machinery and plant. In new designs too, split spherical roller bearings can give cost savings in many cases since the plant can be simplified and the assembly work required is reduced. Due in particular to the reduced downtime, the mounting of split spherical roller bearings gives a significant reduction in mounting costs.
